What is Alpha?

Alpha is an 8-week series of interactive sessions that explore life’s biggest questions in a relaxed, friendly environment. Whether you’re curious about Christianity, searching for meaning, or just want a space to talk, Alpha is for you.

• Duration: 8 weeks

• Time: 6:00pm every Sunday

• Location: Eldad Elim Church, Union Street, St Peter Port, Guernsey

• Includes: A free meal, a short film, and open discussion

What to Expect

Each week we share a meal, watch a thought-provoking video, and have an open conversation.
No pressure. No preaching. Just honest dialogue.
This is a space where all questions are welcome.

• Holy Spirit Day: A special day midway through the course focused on the person and work of the Holy Spirit.

Course Leader: Pastor Howard Davenport
Howard has faithfully served as an Elim pastor since 1996 and has led numerous Alpha Courses. His passion is creating a safe, welcoming space where people can explore life’s biggest questions—from “Who is Jesus?” to “What is my purpose?”
