Eldad Elim Church has a service on Sunday Mornings starting at 10.30am which is preceded by coffee and tea at 10.00am and we also have occasional Sunday evening services, which may be for a baptismal service or a special event.
What to expect
The Sunday morning service is our family celebration with worship, preaching, children's and youth programmes and usually lasts about an hour and a half.
We start most services by singing vibrant songs of praise to God in a relaxed and informal style.
The speaker will talk about an aspect of God or Christian living based on the Bible. We normally allow about 30 minutes for this part of the service.
There is time most Sundays for those who want to, to pray for each other. We often find that people experience great comfort through prayer.
Children are welcome in our services and are not expected to sit still and be quiet! On the first Sunday of the month we all stay together for our Family Service - which isn't just for families, but for everyone. On the other weeks, the children leave part way through the service for their own activities.
Family Service/All Age Worship
On the first sunday of the month we generally have a service which is very much geared to the children and young families. We aim to keep these services to an hour long and afterwards we serve tea and coffee.
We regularly have communion (also known as The Eucharist or the Lord's supper) at Eldad. Normally this is held during our Sunday morning services on the second and final Sunday's of the month.
